The Evolution of Alaris COJOT’s High-Power Antenna Lineup

For defence, security, and electronic-countermeasure applications, robust, wide-band and high-power antennas are non-negotiable. Over the years, Alaris COJOT has steadily expanded its portfolio to meet exactly those demands — and the latest additions continue that tradition.

The Evolution of Alaris COJOT’s High-Power Antenna Lineup

Meet the New Arrivals: WB20200XM & WB1350XM

· The newly introduced WB20200XM, at a power rating of 200W, reflects Alaris COJOT’s commitment to covering the most critical low-band spectrum with reliability and high-power handling. Its design focuses on VHF-range operation, serving tasks such as communications and jamming over 20–200 MHz.

· The new WB1350XM expands flexibility in the mid-band range. Built for 135–512 MHz, it’s a rugged VHF/UHF vehicle antenna, nominally vertically polarized and offering a passive, omnidirectional radiation pattern. With a 200 W power rating at 100% duty cycle, it is ideal for mobile applications, making it suitable for installations on various vehicles and tactical platforms.

These additions build on Alaris COJOT’s legacy, filling in key gaps across the spectrum while ensuring power and ruggedness.

The Proven Performers: Established High-Power Models

Alaris COJOT’s “classics” remain relevant and powerful tools in modern RF and EW deployments. Here are some of the backbone antennas that continue to set the standard:

· WB225XM — Among the most versatile and powerful vehicle-mounted antennas, covering a very wide bandwidth (200 – 6000 MHz) and offering a substantial 400 W power rating. This makes it exceptionally well suited for electronic countermeasure tasks such as high-power RCIED jamming across diverse frequency bands.

· WB425XM — An ultra-wideband, high-power antenna covering 400 – 6000 MHz. Lightweight and compact, it’s optimized for modern tasks like Counter-UAS, broad-spectrum jamming or communications support. It offers omnidirectional coverage, vertical polarization, and a hefty 400 W power rating — making it a go-to for multi-band, multi-mission platforms.

· WB10DXM — A more compact VHF/UHF vehicle antenna, covering 100 – 520 MHz with 200 W power. Its design makes it ideal for high-power mobile applications, especially where vehicle integration and a smaller antenna footprint are required.

· WB30512XM — A robust VHF/UHF vehicle antenna spanning 20 – 520 MHz, rated for 200 W and built with detachment capability (radiator and whip can be removed without tools). It’s commonly applied in vehicle-based Counter-RCIED and jamming applications — a dependable workhorse across a broad lower-to-mid frequency range.

Based on COJOT’s approach with similar antennas, these 200W models are expected to cater especially well to RCIED/jamming applications where stable, high-power transmission at lower frequencies is vital.

Together, these antennas illustrate the breadth of COJOT’s offerings - from compact mid-band mounts to ultra-wideband, high-power antennas

Why COJOT’s High-Power Antennas Matter

Modern electronic warfare, counter-IED, counter-UAS, and tactical communications demand antennas that are:

· Wideband — to cover multiple frequency bands (VHF, UHF, SHF) with a single antenna, reducing the need for multiple install points. COJOT’s ultra-wideband antennas like WB225XM and WB425XM deliver exactly that.

· High Power Handling — for continuous duty-cycle operations, high output, and reliability under heavy load. Many COJOT antennas offer 200–400 W ratings for continuous use — critical for jamming and ECM roles.

· Rugged Construction & Flexibility for Vehicles — designed for real-world usage on vehicles, with features like detachable radiators/whips, vertical polarization, and omnidirectional radiation. This ensures adaptability across vehicle types and deployment scenarios.

· Broad Applicability — for both communications and countermeasures, the same antenna platform can often be used in multiple roles. This modularity helps integrators simplify system architecture.

As RF environments become more contested and complex, having a flexible, powerful, and reliable antenna library is not just desirable, it’s essential. With their expanding lineup, Alaris COJOT is well positioned to meet those evolving demands.
