Quality Technician

Minimum education (essential):

• Diploma / Technical Qualification – Mechanical/ Electrical or Quality

Desired Qualifications

• BTech in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering.
• Certifications in:
• IPC-A-610
• IPC J-STD-001
• IPC/HWMA-A-620
• Exposure to ISO 9001 (IATF16949/AS 9100 beneficial), ISO 14000

Other Requirements

• Be a hardworking, driven, self-motivated, ambitious person who will be able to work independently and accurately
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specs
• Learn a lot of new information in a short period of time
• Attention to detail
• Hands-on experience with various measuring equipment
• Experience with Assembly techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) and the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
• Have a knack for understanding and preventing quality problems
• Drive hard for continuous improvement of products and processes
• Efficiency, Persistence, Pro-activeness, Diligence and Enforcing.
• Good understanding of fault analysis and corrective actions implementation
• Ability to work under pressure and occasionally overtime
• Ability to Walk and stand for up to 8 hours periods
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 20kg
